Directions
The Foundation’s office in Hernando, MS is approximately 180 miles
north of Jackson, MS and 15 miles from the airport in Memphis, TN.
The office is just over 20 miles south of downtown Memphis. Visitors
staying overnight in the area can also consider hotel locations in
Southaven, MS (9 miles from office), Olive Branch, MS (14 miles from
office), and Tunica County, MS (20 to 25 miles from office).
From
Memphis:
Take I-55 South (from Memphis airport, follow signs to I-240, then
take I-240 West to I-55 South). Take Exit 280, Hernando,
approximately 13 miles past the Mississippi state line. Turn right
onto Commerce Street, continue less than a mile, across railroad
tracks. The Maddox Foundation office is on the right, between Church
and East Streets. The office is an old home set well back off the
road; parking is accessed from Church Street.
From most points in Mississippi:
Take I-55 North to Exit 280, Hernando
Turn left onto Commerce Street, continue less than a mile, across
railroad tracks.

From the Mississippi Delta:
Take U.S. Highway 61 to its intersection with “new” State Highway
304 and the I-69 connector, north of Tunica, MS and past all
casinos. The “Hernando” exit off U.S. 61 is just north of the Desoto
County line.
Take State Highway 304 East, which joins I-69 after about a mile, to
I-55.
Take the Hernando exit onto I-55 South for about three miles to Exit
280 (Hernando).
Turn right onto Commerce Street, continue less than a mile, across
railroad tracks

Northeast Mississippi:
Take U.S. Highway 78 toward Memphis to Exit 4, Olive
Branch/Independence. Take State Highway 305 South almost one mile to
a stop light at Church Road. Turn right on Church road, continue
west some 10 miles to I-55. Take I-55 South and follow directions
“from Memphis” listed above.
